Under the patronage and presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Sora bint Saud, Khiyrat Association for Saving Food launched two new mobile feeding vehicles on Monday, November 24, 2025, in partnership with Ahyaha Foundation for Human Development.

Upon her arrival, Princess Sora was welcomed by the Chairwoman of the Board, Ms. Hessa Al-Shunaifi, along with several board members and the Executive Director, Mr. Abdullah Al-Subaie.

Princess Sora expressed her pride in the occasion, emphasizing the importance of the project in raising awareness about food preservation and making use of surplus food. She stated: “This project represents an inspiring step that restores the balance between abundance and responsibility. Preserving food is not just an initiative, it is a moral, economic, and environmental responsibility that reflects our awareness of what we have.” Ms. Al-Shunaifi thanked Princess Sora for her presence and support, praising her role in launching two new vehicles that will enhance the field team’s ability to serve beneficiaries more efficiently. At the end of the visit, the Princess was presented with a commemorative shield in appreciation of her support and sponsorship of the occasion.

It is worth mentioning that the Mobile Feeding Project includes more than 30 vehicles dedicated to transporting and distributing surplus food, as well as vehicles used for regular monitoring to ensure service quality and sustainability
