His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, inaugurated the new headquarters of Khiyrat Association for Saving Food on Tuesday, 4/11/2025, located in Al-Aarid district, Riyadh.

Upon his arrival at the inauguration ceremony, His Highness was welcomed by Ms. Hessa Al-Shunaifi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Abdullah Al-Subaie, Executive Director of the association, Abdulrahman Al-Oqail, Deputy Governor of the General Authority of Endowments, Abdulaziz Al-Zakari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Charitable Associations in the region, along with several association officials. Immediately after his arrival, His Highness unveiled the commemorative plaque of the new headquarters and cut the ribbon, marking the launch of a new phase in the association’s work. He then toured the operational facility, where he reviewed the methods employed for food preservation, and visited various association departments.

In her speech on the occasion, Chairwoman Hessa Al-Shunaifi expressed her gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Deputy Governor of Riyadh for honoring and inaugurating the new headquarters. She affirmed that this step reflects the continued support of the wise leadership, may God protect them, for the non-profit sector, as well as the interest and follow-up of His Highness the Governor of Riyadh and His Highness the Deputy Governor in the association’s activities and programs aimed at reducing food waste and promoting the culture of preserving blessings.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness honored the supporters and partners of success.
