Today (Thursday), 12/3/2026, Khairat Association for Preserving Food signed a strategic partnership agreement with the endowments of Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi – may he rest in peace – in a step reflecting the ongoing cooperation between the two parties to support efforts to preserve foods and sustain food security.
The agreement was signed by Abdullah Al-Subaie, CEO of “Khairat,” and Abdulaziz Al-Anzi, CEO of the endowments, at the endowments’ headquarters. This partnership aims to support the association’s projects in the field of preserving foods , raise community awareness about the importance of maintaining foods, reduce food waste, and utilize surplus food by directing it to needy families.
Abdullah Al-Subaie emphasized the importance of this partnership, which extends the joint cooperation between the association and the endowments of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Rajhi. He pointed out that it contributes to distributing surplus edible food from events and occasions to beneficiary families, enhancing sustainable development efforts, and reducing the environmental impacts resulting from food waste.
Al-Subaie noted that this partnership helps expand the scope of the association’s work and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
On behalf of himself, the board members, and Khairat staff, Al-Subaie expressed his gratitude to the endowments of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Rajhi for their contribution and continuous cooperation in supporting the association’s programs and initiatives for preserving foods.
It is worth mentioning that Khairat Association preserved and distributed more than 8 million food meals from surplus edible food in the Riyadh region to its beneficiaries during the year 2025
