Khairat” wins the Ihsan Award for Leading Associations for the second consecutive year

Khairat Association for Preserving Food won the Ihsan Award for Leading Associations in the food sector at the national level for the second consecutive year in its third edition for 2026, in recognition of its excellence in adhering to standards, project implementation efficiency, and sustainability of its impact in serving its beneficiaries.

This took place during the fourth Benefactors Honor Ceremony held by the Ihsan Platform, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect him – and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, on the evening of Friday, 6/3/2026.

On this occasion, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the association, Hessa Al-Shunaifi, expressed her pride and honor in this achievement that the association has accomplished for the second consecutive year, congratulating the board members, the general assembly, Khairat staff, and its partners, affirming that this victory represents the fruit of integrated institutional work and the joint efforts exerted by the association in serving the community.

For his part, the CEO of the association, Abdullah Al-Subaie, confirmed that Khairat’s winning of the Ihsan Award in its third edition reflects the association’s commitment to applying best practices in governance, operational efficiency, and measuring the social impact of its initiatives, pointing out that the association continues to develop its programs and projects aimed at preserving food and reducing food waste, contributing to maximizing the positive impact on society.

Al-Subaie praised the great support the association receives from the honorary president of the association, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, and what His Highness provides in terms of care and attention to charitable and humanitarian work initiatives in the region. He also extended thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, for their continuous support and encouragement of the association’s efforts and community programs.

The CEO of the association concluded by highlighting the important role of the Ehsan platform and those responsible for it in supporting charitable work and enhancing its efficiency and reliability. He also noted the efforts of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development and the support and empowerment it provides to charitable associations, alongside its role in consolidating governance principles and raising the level of institutional performance, contributing to the development of non-profit work and enhancing its social impact
