Khiyrat Association was honored to receive a visit from Her Royal Highness Princess Nouf bint Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Saud, CEO of the King Khalid Foundation. She was welcomed by members of the Board of Directors, the executive management, and several team members of Khairat.
The purpose of the visit was to explore the association’s activities and services, and to learn about the operational process in the food preservation and distribution facility, where surplus food is sorted, processed, and distributed to beneficiaries. Princess Nouf bint Mohammed expressed her happiness with the visit and praised what she observed during her tour of the operational facility, emphasizing the importance of charitable efforts and the projects implemented by Khiyrat that support needy families, reduce food waste, and promote sustainability in the community.
She also commended the efforts of Khiyrat’s team and their positive impact on food security and social solidarity. Ms. Hessa Al-Shunaifi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, welcomed the Princess and expressed her appreciation for accepting the invitation, considering the visit a source of pride for the association and its members. Mr. Abdullah Al-Subaie, the Executive Director of the association, also welcomed Princess Nouf and shared his delight at the visit.
During his presentation, he showcased the association’s achievements and the dedication of its team in preserving food and meeting the needs of its beneficiaries. He also discussed Khiyrat’s charitable projects, programs, and future plans, along with potential avenues for collaboration between the two entities in charitable initiatives that support sustainable food security. At the end of the visit, the association presented Princess Nouf bint Mohammed with a commemorative shield to mark the occasion.
